The Elko County Sheriff's Posse is currently expanding their manpower and provided services. We currently provide or will be providing the following SAR services:

K-9 tracking, area dogs, Cadaver and HRD dogs Water/Ice Rescue Low/High-angle rope rescue Man-tracking Equestrian search and support Special Vehicle Units (SVU) 4-wheelers, snowmobiles... Avalanche Trained Ground-pounders.
